This is a Commission-Only, Independent Contractor position with a strong need for client relationship, marketing and sales skills.
We seek motivated entrepreneurs who have a thirst for continuous learning and a passion for details. Someone who is willing to work hard and is eager to learn the business. Multitasking, positive attitude, marketing and social media skills are essential. We are a Full-Service Travel Agency meaning you can book nearly anything from All-Inclusive Resorts, to Beach Homes and Condos, to Theme Parks, Hotels, Rental Cars, etc. and of course cruises.
- It is important to be experienced and knowledgeable when it comes to travel. This means you must complete a wide range of supplier trainings, and that you HAVE TO TAKE VACATIONS! While travel industry and sales experience is preferred it is not necessary prior to joining our team, you will want to have a strong desire to learn and experience the industry you are selling and be driven to succeed. It is NOT an easy job, but it can be very rewarding in many ways! We make clients vacation dreams come true.
- You will be representing Cruise Planners-Stacey and Mark Witte, an Independently owned and operated Cruise Planners Franchise. This means you are expected to be kind, friendly, respectful, professional and thorough. You must pass a background check, have excellent verbal and written skills, be organized, and be skillful with computers and technical applications. This role can be done on a part-time basis to start, but the most successful Travel Advisors are full time and are willing to put in the required effort and dedication necessary for success. Plus, you must have full-time availability to service your clients for emergencies. You set your own general flexible work schedule and sales goals.
